These are tough times we are all experiencing as we navigate the new normal amid the coronavirus pandemic. As Nebraskans, we are being asked to practice social distancing by staying home, only going out for essential activities, keeping a 6 ft distance from each other, cancelling plans, not gathering in more than groups of 10 people, and avoiding crowded spaces. During this time, there are many questions that arise around how we should move forward with Papillion Days.
To make sure that we do whatever we can to help contain the virus and to promote public health and safety, we are in the process of considering all options to include cancelling this year's Papillion Days Event. As it's a complicated situation, we are closely monitoring health department updates and we plan on making an official announcement by May 1, 2020.
Right now we ask you to stay safe and take care of one another - which is what we are focusing on right now - taking care of our Community.
