Veterans Park
The Papillion Community Foundation along with the City of Papillion are partners in Veterans Park. This Gold Star Memorial is an incredible tribute to those who have served in the Armed Forces from Sarpy County. It is a place where veterans, their families and the citizens of Papillion and Sarpy County can come to reflect, remember, and find peace. The Park is a great source of pride for our community and Sarpy County.
This is an honor project for Sarpy County Veterans. You must have served in Sarpy County, lived in Sarpy County, or gone to school in Sarpy County to qualify.
Plaque Cost is $200. Online orders will be charged a $7 processing fee, bringing the total cost to $207.
The Papillion Community Foundation is honored to be part of the Veteran’s Park project.
We have the honor of continuing to grow and develop the Veterans Park project in partnership with the City of Papillion. Continuous updates and additions are made to the Park each year.
The Blue Start Marker honors all men and women that serve in the United States Armed Forces. Other components in the Park include: Butterfly Pollinator and Habitat Garden and a memorial obelisk recognizing five military heros from the Papillion community.
Continual improvement and maintenance of this Park is ongoing. As the names on these walls grow, our committment grows to making this one of the most beautiful spaces in Sarpy County to honor those who have served.
