Our Community
Papillion Nebraska has consistently been identified as one of America's best places to live and one of the best places to live in Nebraska. The community has a unique mix of high-technology and telemarketing jobs,family farming and the military community at nearby Offutt Air Force Base. A unique blend of backgrounds all making up one Strong Community. With a population of approximately 20,000 people, our community has an incredible small town feel. Our city provides a great balance between lifestyle and affordability. We have a robust parks system and brand new community center. 2020 is our 150th Birthday celebration - we have a rich heritage and Papillion just Feels Like Home.

Who we are
The Papillion Community Foundation has been building community since 1998 through supporting our mission of identifying, developing and supporting programs that enhance the quality of life in our City.

Veterans Park
The Papillion Community Foundation along with the City of Papillion partner the Veterans Park Project. This Blue Star Memorial is an incredible tribute to those who have served in the Armed Forces from Sarpy County. It is a place where veterans, their families and the citizens of Papillion and Sarpy County can come to reflect, remember and find peace. It is a great source of pride for our community and Sarpy County.

Community Events
The Papillion Community Foundation hosts several major community events each year. From the traditional Community Festival Papillion Days to the annual Holiday Lighting ceremony at Winter Wonderland and many more including the Papillion 150. Each event helps build community where everyone feels at home!
